Update....finally

Yes the Smiths are alive. We had a really good Christmas. Carter got spoiled rotten between his grandparents, us and Santa he got a ton of stuff. The highlight of Carters Christmas was his doctors kit. A few of his other gifts were a basketball hoop, a leapfrog computer, a Thomas choo choo, and a ton of other stuff.

Carter is quite the kid. He was potty trained a few months back but decided that is just wasn't for him. He would rather go in his pants. I am so ready for him to be potty trained but i guess I will have to wait for him to be good and ready. He is a basketball star. Greg helped coach the jr. high boys basketball team. Carter got to go to practice with Greg so he now LOVES the sport. Carter is so talented and good at everything he does. He is pretty smart too (I may be prejudice but ya know) he knows his ABC's, he can spell his name, he can count to 13, he knows my phone number, he knows what town we live in and what town I work in, he knows when his birthday is and When Greg's birthday is, and much much more, he says the funniest things. Those are just a few things that I can think of. This next week we get to take a trip the dermatologist office to get his birthmark/mole cut off. We took him in to get it tested and the results were not what we were expecting. I guess it is pretty rare for a two year old have cancer cells. It sucks because he has to get it put under to remove it. I know he will be just fine but it is scary. The poor kid has already been through so much. He has a peanut and egg allergy, he had tubes put in his ears ( which me and infections every other week), he was hospitalized because of an ileus ( bowl problem due to the flu and being dehydrated), and he has asthma. It just seems like it is one thing after another. I know it could be so much worse so truly am grateful.
Some fun things Carter says:
"cute boots jos.....you bought them at walmart" Carter is way observant he knows were we are at all times and what is going on
around him.
"jos...when is your birthday, Jos were do you live" I guess we quiz him so he turns around and quiz's his cousin.
"I won't go to noisery (nursery) I won't" he bawls his eyes out when we drop him off.
"dad.... We don't say g__ we say gosh, huh"
He loves to sing. Right now his favorite song is "tonight gonna be a good night" by the black eyed peas. I will have to post a
Video of him singing it. It is way stinking cute.
" grandma....my mom have baby sister" grandma says oh ya how do you get a baby sister" Carter- " mommy and daddy
have to work on it". Were do these kids come up with these things.

Carter is such a blessing in our lives I love him so much.

Nothing new and excited from me. I still work full time and spend the rest of my time with my Carter boy and Greg when he is not working.

Greg is a police officer at UVU. He works graveyards right now. The schedule actually works out really good for us. He has Carter quite a bit during the week days. Which means Carter is a serious daddy's boy. Everything Greg does Carter has to do.

I am about 7 months behind so I only posted stuff I could remember. I really need to be better at posting. Life is just crazy busy.
