3 Year old Pictures

Greg's dad took these pictures of Carter. These are just a few that he posted. I have about 150 really good pictures to choose from. Carter is so full of personality. You just never really know what is going to come out of his little mouth. The other day he asked Greg if that was "pissing him off". He is into EVERYTHING cop and firefighter related. If you ask him what he is going to be when he grows up it is a cop, firefighter or ambulance driver (it really depends on what he sees driving around that day). He told me the other day that he is "so frustrated" I asked if he even knew what that meant and he told me it means "being mad".

Rough week.

Lets start off by saying that I was pregnant. I was seven weeks along and WAY excited. We had been trying for quite sometime now. I had been to the dr and he put me on some fertility medicine. It was two months worth. The first month didn't work but the second one finally did. We were so excited, carter was so excited to be a BIG brother. Last Saturday I had cramps (which was pretty normal at this point in the pregnancy) I talked to he dr and he said that as long as I wasn't bleeding the I was probably ok. I was at work on Thursday (July 14) and there was definitely blood. I called the dr and he wanted me in for an ultrasound. When I got there the guy doing my ultrasound couldn't find anything resembling a baby. So he said that maybe I had a false positive pregnancy test or maybe I am not as far along as thought.I talked to the dr and he wanted me to go get my blood drawn to have my HCG levels checked (still don't know what these I had to get one more test done today). I am suppose to call the dr on Monday. So we headed over to the lab at Utah Valley. I had to use the restroom so I headed to pee. ( sorry if this is too gross but I want to remember this stuff). I think this is when I passed everything. I was pretty emotional after we left the dr office and we could not see a baby. I know that everything happens for a reason and we will too eventually get our baby but it is so hard not to wonder why. I don't think it matters how far along you are it is still a very hard thing to deal with. I am trying to stay positive but i have definitely had my crying spills. Greg is so good to me I am not sure how I would do it without him by my side. I am hoping my body has reset itself or something and now I can get pregnant soon and be healthy.

I know things could be SO much worse. I have a healthy boy and healthy family. I work with a lady who lost her grandson on Friday ( he was four) I can't even begin to think what there family is going through. It just breaks my heart to think about it. It is thing like this that make me think maybe my situation is not that bad.

We had a party for carter on Saturday his actual birthday was Monday June 27th. We did a baseball theme party. He got SPOILED he got a bb gun, a tackle box, lots of new guns, clothes, a golf set and much more. On his actual birthday we took him up to Payson Lakes to go fishing. We only caught one fish but had lots of fun. I can't believe my baby is 3.

Greg's little sister Valerie got married on June 24th. She looked so pretty. My boys looked pretty handsome too. Her reception was SO PRETTY and so much fun. Congrats Valerie and Ozzy we are so excited for you.

Camping

We went camping over fathers day weekend. When I say we I really mean everyone camped and I came out for one day. I'm not much for camping. All the cousins on my moms side got together for this fun camping trip.




Carter was tired of fishing so he wanted to real the pole in. Little did he know here was a fish latched on. All the kids were pretty excited.

Lagoon

We had such a good time at Lagoon (cagoon as Carter would say). He had no fear he loved all of the rides (even the scary Farris wheel I was a tad freaked out by this). I think his favorite was the log ride.

Carter and Josilyn have so much fun together. They love to go to my moms house and play house under the swing set. Grandpa took them on a lawn mower ride around the lawn.

This one was on Easter Sunday. We had Josilyn over night so the Easter Bunny didn't make it to our house until After church. Carter is still young enough that he didn't catch on.

Carter finally got that Deigo fishing pole that he has been dying to have.

My mom had a Easter party at her house. Jim's family knows how to PARTY. They had TONS of candy. There was so much candy the kids were being picky.
